Our Mission

Arbutus Middle School embraces the challenge of ensuring success for every student. We strive to create opportunities for all students to experience academic, personal, civic, social, and vocational growth. We work together as a school community to provide a visibly safe, disciplined, inviting, and nurturing environment. At Arbutus Middle School, we believe that middle school is a time when students grow as creative and critical thinkers. Our mission is to help our students develop into life-long, 21st century learners who are college and career ready.

After School Clubs - These clubs are offered for the Fall 2022 Semester.

AMS Basketball Registration Information
AMS BASKETBALL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
All forms due November 11th
First day of try outs Nov. 15th 
(afterschool 3:05pm-5:00pm)
students must have their own ride home!
No forms or registration submitted = No Tryout!
Students must have at least a 2.0 GPA to be eligible to tryout.


Bell Schedule

Bus Stop Information - Beginning today, August 22, 2022, parents/guardians and students will now see transportation information in FOCUS.  To access student transportation information under a parent/guardian sign-on in FOCUS, users should select “Child Info” under the student’s name on left side of the FOCUS window. Once “Child Info” is selected, users should select, “Transportation.”  Within “Transportation,” users will see the Bus Number, Bus Route Name, Stop Description, and Stop Time for both the morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) trips. Please email [email protected] or call 443-809-4321 with questions or concerns regarding school bus service.

Principal's Message - Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 School Year.

Student Schedules - Parents and students can access student schedules for the 2022-2023 school year beginning on August 15th through FOCUS.  The attached document provides directions for accessing FOCUS and also information for creating a Parent FOCUS account if you have not done so already.
